What Scares You?

IRL, when I was a kid, I had to bicycle home (4+ miles) w/ no street lights--I had a recurring 3-year (?) nightmare about an old man in a white 'sheet' with a goat's head bicycling in the opposite direction (towards me).

Now that I'm older, my biggest fear: loosing control/sanity. I think loosing faith in your ability to discern reality would have to be the most horrific feeling...

Hee...that was the first horror film I saw. "North" was so bad it was scary, though...maybe that would be my first one.

The thing that really scares me is that they are really going to do a sequel to the DnD movie, PLEASE MAKE IT STOP...........MAKE IT STOP MAKE IT STOP

There are only two things in this world that scare me.


One of them is nuclear war. The other? Carnies. Small hands, smell like cabbage.

Clowns, evil clowns...

and mimes. Mimes scare the heebie jeebies out of me and everyone I know.

But seriously, the creeping undead babies will haunt me for a while. Also, bees....big venomous swarms of bees.

Not to mention the scariest thing of all, which is the unknown. If you could set your characters up in some sort of situation where they had no idea who was good, who was out to get them, or in some sort of world where there was a million of "the bad guy" but only one of them was the one that could kill them. Psychological terror. It's a beautiful thing.

If that doesn't work, you can always go back to the evil clowns...
