So far so good... we've got 30+ votes, but I'd love to get to 100 before the poll closes on Monday morning... so go get the vote out! ;)

Monsters! Monsters! I loved the Monsternomicon 3/3.5. What I'd really like to see are some 'jacks with 4th Ed. stats.

I loved writing up monsters for the Monsternomicon ;)

Privateer Press is a real class act to work for ;)

As for jacks... not certain I could do that for a monster book, but if I do end up doing a monster book I could look at a constructs-based book as an option. No promises, but we'll see how the vote goes.

One of the (many) things I liked the most from the Monsternomicon was that it had unique monsters in it. Flay and Gristle, for instance. Single entities that you could hear legends about, and if you saw them, your knuckles go white across your dice.

And if you kill them, you are legendary.

My favorite of this type was the Deathjack, because it had the cool folktale between the mercenaries that "If you didn't come back from a mission, it was the Deathjack that got you".

Uniques are something to base an adventure around, instead of just an encounter. :)

The unique monsters were the most enjoyable to write and design... I did the Boatman and had a lot of fun coming up with him. ;)

I also enjoyed the Eldritch... especially the story to go along with it. ;)

This one is one of my favorites too ;)

I agree... and if I were to do a monster book I'd probably focus on unique creatures (and their associated monsters) that you could make an adventure around.
