I'm more interested in seeing what the new Dungeons & Dragons logo will be like than how it will be called. :cool:

Yeah, only 2E had an edition written on the cover if i am not mistaken.

For the first half of its run; the logo was revised to just say "Advanced Dungeons & Dragons" in May 1995.

The 3.5 core books had "Version 3.5" plates on their covers, though not as part of the logo.

So basically, the only time the game gives an edition number on the cover is when it's a transition point where they want to differentiate it but maintain compatibility with the backstock.

As for the question, I've variously referred to it as Next, 5E, the Ouroboros Edition, Daisy, or some combination thereof. :)
