I think about the size of a compact. Large?

On a related, but more important question; which size category is a forklift?

The forklifts I was trained to drive were Large. About 4 feet wide: the sit-down lift was about 8 feet long; the stand-up lift had a 4 x 4 floor print. Both however had a tall mast; 10 feet high (and carefully check everything for clearance when crawling through doorways) for the stand-up, 6 feet for the sit-down so it could fit into trailers.
At full extension the forks could reach a rack maybe 30 feet up.

P.S. I forgot - our construction contractor brought a bigger forklift (15 x 15?) that had the capacity to pick up my forklift.

They aren't all the same size, but I think "large" would cover a fair number of them?

Large+ depends on the forklift. Big ones at port probably gargantuan.
