What spells do you enjoy?

I believe he means that you use the Raesur to disarm them, and have the mage hand grab their sword.

I had a Kobold Wizard (short lived solo game) who made his carreer on Color spray.

I believe my spell list was Grease, Ray of Enfeeb, Color Spray, Tenser's Floating Disk, and Scare, which I couldn't cast, since I was 1st level, and made it to 2nd.

Spells I'd like to utalize: Unseen Servant, Bestow Curse, POly Other (Turning villagers into goats is *fun!*), Blindness/Deafness, etc.

Btw, there's a Greater Sleep out there, for you sleep junkies. :)

Create Crawling Claw? Bogun?

Create Crawling Claw can be found on page 30 of Monsters of Faerun.

Beget Bogun is found on pages 82-83 of Masters of the Wild.

Wow... which version of Color Spray are you using? :D My copy of the PHB says that it only has the ability to knock out, blind, or stun the bad guys...

(I'm sure you mean Prismatic Spray... ;) )

[Edit] Darn... you fixed it. :p [/Edit]

I just had a twisted idea. With Color Spray and all of the various Prismatic spells out there, wouldn't it be cool to make a Psychedelic, hippie mage? :D

Craft Magic... Bong? :D

Ambient's "Portable Hole Full of Beer" has several drug-related prestige classes, including the Drug Fiend, Junk Zombie, and Reefer Madman. They even included a quasi-hippie prestige class: the Beat Poet.

How about Opium Pipes of Clairvoyance? Dang, it would be cool if someone would convert that one AD*D Guide to Drugs, or for that matter, Guide to Alchohol. I have Portable Whole Full of Beer by the way, and its prestige classes are interesting to say the least.

I of course love the idea of Bestow Curse, but I'm not too fond of how it's implemented in D&D. I love how Ravenloft curses work though, and I think the two could merge a bit.

First, Ravenloft offers up five levels of severity for curses, from Embarrassing (Hair turns stark white; Forked tongue; Hungers for raw meat), through Dangerous (-6 to an Ability; Blindness; Polymorphed into an animal), up to Lethal (-8 to an Ability; Immediate transformation into a monster).

If the default Bestow Curse spell is a 4th-level Wizard spell that bestows Dangerous curses -- voila! Now we have 1st- through 5th-level Bestow Curse spells too!

Then we can bump the severity up or down for wording, broad prohibitions vs. narrow ones, appropriateness of punishment to the "crime", etc.

Wow... this is a really, really good idea.

Consider it stolen. :D Thanks mmadsen!
