What (type of) Book Would You Spend $100 On?

Not sure I'd do that but then I'm pretty burnt out on FR...

I'd really like more details on say Demon Cults, Archfiend powers, oh and why is Sammaster keeps coming back!

None. $100 for one (or even a set) is too much to spend. I'd rather pick and choose choice books from a set.

Things I would spend $100 on:

1 - A compilation of all WotC monsters from all hardcover 3e sources. If in color;
2- A compilation of all WotC PrCs and feats and skills & spells;
3- DragonLance original campaign modules - all 12 - with new maps and added material, revised and updated for 3.5e and being about 500+ pages in length;
4- World's Largest Dungeon;
5- World's Largest City;
6- Some *other* kick-ass long 600-800+ page adventure material, with maps

My game group purchased the Worlds Largest Dungeon, and it was a great deal. The World's Largest City is NOT going to be a $100 book by the way. The price point was so contentious that Alderac decided not to go that route again, which I think, personally, is a shame.

I agree with Twofalls. I think WLD was well worth the money. It sound like many of you have not been in a college bookstore in a while, where a book that is going to last you a quarter runs about $130 in some cases. The way most groups play, try two years of gaming with WLD, and that's for something we enjoy doing - not because it is required reading.

Heck if your smart about it go to Amazon or Half.com and pick it up for $60. Game on.....

A REAL leather bound, gilded edges, locking limited edition NUMBERED signed book...

Or a book that performs oral services.

I think they abuse the fact that people need the college textbooks to rip them off personally.
