Oops. I accidently checked off the Fiend Folio when I shouldn't have, and not Deities & Demigods when I should have! :o

That said, the only reason I don't own the ones I didn't check off is because I can't get my hands on them, not because I don't want them.

It's rather hard to pick a favorite, but if I had to, I'd say the BoVD. I liked it, I really did. Demons, arch-fiends, evil PrCs and artifacts. Variant evil rules and evil feats. That book had it all!

Out of that lot? Favourite is by far the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting. Made by WotC in it's 3E heyday, seemingly with a lot of love and care, and unmatched by the core books nor anything that followed, IMO.

Runner-ups are Magic of Faerun, because it expands the spell list of the PHB to a point where the spell selection doesn't seem like generic lean pickings, and Monster Manual II, because it undoes some of the damage to the game's atmosphere that the selection in the Monster Manual did. I expect Fiend Folio will help in that department too...

My favorites?

From a DMs perspective... Manual of the Planes is my favorite but, of course, I won't give up my DMG for anything (except a DMG 3.5... maybe.) My close second is Deities and Demigods. That book get a bad rap from a lot of people but I think it kicks!

From a player's perspective... it has to be Savage Species. That book is amazing. A close second is Tome and Blood. I really thought I'd get into the ELH but I've yet to even start reading it. I don't have use for Epic Level creation rules at the moment.

{EDIT}

Oh yes, I'm really into reading and re-reading my Living Greyhawk Gazetteer, right now. I keep my copies of the FRCS and Lords of Darkness for Realmsian Dragonstar and that's it.

I have a hard time picking a single favorite of anything, so I'll say my favorites are the FRCS, Savage Species, DMG, Magic of Faerun.
