That mini is so damned cool. I haven't bought any of the Gargantuan or Colossol Dragons but if they released that by itself or in a boxed set or by itself I would buy it in a second. I bow to its awesomeness!!!

Steve Winter's blog has a picture of the present given to employees of WotC. It's Snowball, the Holiday Edition Beholder.
How cool is that? (Pun semi-intended).

I dunno. I'm not really seeing the awesomeness of it, I guess.

That sculpt and paint (particularly the eye) looks magnitudes better than the current DDM beholder does. Two eye stalks up!

IMO, WotC should auction a handful of these on eBay and donate the proceeds to a charity this Christmas. That way a few non-WotC folks could actually get their hands on one, a charity makes some money, and WotC gets some good press. That's my two coppers anyway...
