What Would You Get From This Pile?

Personally I'd get all the BECMI D&D and 1e AD&D stuff I could get my hands on.

Having never played 1e AD&D (I'm age 26), what does BECMI stand for?

I might be able to get a list by the weekend because the owner doesn't have a list and I will have to manually scrounge every nook and cranny and list down what they actually have. I can guarantee you several dozen survival guides and Dragonlance Atlas's though. And the boxed sets too. The rarer modules are less than a dozen (with the exception of the Dragonlance modules). There's some Lankhmar modules too in case anyone is interested. Oh and Best of Dragon Vol. 3.

BTW people can contact me at charlestan at gmail. My biggest problem is that I really don't have a bank account, no paypal, and I don't really know how to handle money orders. As I mentioned before, a friend is going to New Jersey this May and he has a PayPal account (or if you're in the area, perform the transaction face to face).

all those boxed sets. Basic D&D, Expert D&D, Companion D&D, Masters D&D, Immortals D&D

Ah. Saw Expert D&D and Companion D&D in the pile. The rest, sadly, no (hopefully I am mistaken and I will spot some hidden when I return there).

Omg!

OMG!

OMG!

Aaaaargh!

So many books ... OMG.

I don't know how else to put this.

OMG.

Of the things I saw, it seems as if Star Frontiers stuff is in there, get that for old times sake. Get Expert and Companion set at least.

Or better. Talk someone into wiring you money. Buy the stuff. Pack it to the states, and have that person sell it on e-bay.

Both of you would make a killing!

Buy it all!

/M

They are worth the fourty or fifty dollars on ebay, but are priceless to a fan. (And don't ask Shemmy about what he paid for one of them ;) )

:heh: Unknowingly getting into a bidding war against a friend who's trying to get you a birthday present...

Still, it was the Hellbound box set. Shrink wrapped. Totally worth it.

It's mostly Dragonlance stuff and even the occasional Lankhmar module but what would you get from this pile? Better yet, anything I should look out for? (I did see a Best of Dragon Vol. 3 in there.)

Pics can be seen at http://charlesatan.vox.com/library/post/dd-backyard-sale.html
Unless it is the first or second edition of the Lankhmar city book, stay away from the Lankhmar stuff, as it is uniformly crap.

OMG OMG OMG drooling OMG look at the SIZE of those piles !!!

1) Are they in English?
2) When is the sale?
3) how much is round trip air fare US-Philipine??

Seriously, beg/borrow/second mortgage and grab as much as possible. You may not be able to ebay NOW but next month/year? Find someone elsewhere to middle-man sales?

That's neat. I wonder how it all ended up there.

I see some Renegade Legion stuff from FASA -- I always liked the art in that line. I think I played Interceptor once, maybe, but it was still neat.

What old Shadowrun stuff do they have?
