Employees that seemed to care about the customers and have a workable knowledge of RPGs.

In the case of our local, late but not so great, game store it was the manager who was the fault. Lazy, unhelpful, offensive. People stopped coming simply to avoid dealing with him. Result, the store closed last month. The other employees were good people, but the manager ruined it for a lot of folks.

More gaming books and less TCG/CCGs. Actually any book that stimulates your creativity, which can be just about any gaming book, ragarless of what sysytem it is and who publishes it.

To all ohioian gamers

This applies mainly to my fellow ohio-ian gamers - derbercher, biggusgeekus, and crothian (sorry if I've spelled your name wrong - as of right now I've had half a bottle of rum in the last hour)

Try the armoury if you are anywhere near Pickerington, Oh. www.armourygames.com

It is well worth it - the owner's Bruce and Diane are supper nice and very helpful - they've gone out of thier way to track down products for me and get them in a timely manner. Thier store is super clean and professional and they have alot of different gaming activities going on that they are more than willing to accept new people into. Check out the website for directions and info into some of there gaming activities.

LET ME SAY HERE THAT I IN NO WAY WORK FOR ARMOURY OR GET ANYTHING OUT OF THIS OTHER THAN THE HOPE THAT I WILL RUN INTO FELLOW ENWORLDERS THERE TO TALK IN PERSON.

I would like to see some old games back in print. I don't even want new editions, just the old stuff. It seems that most new releases fail to capture my attention. Perhaps I'm too old to keep the pace with the new stuff.

Tidy, non-cluttered layout. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Fewer customers that only reinforce the negative stereotypes of gamers (creeps, stinkers, and people that see Harry Knowles as a fashion template, I'm looking at you). The ability to act as a community hub of sorts for gamers in the area without losing any of the above.

I'd mainly like it if more gaming stores were, you know, nice instead of just tolerable.
