What would you spend $5,000 on?

Assuming I could get the time off work. A nice month long holiday. Probably visit America for 2 weeks and potentially time it for Gen Con if my group was up for it. Then visit some friends in the Caribbean, possibly visit Cuba as well on the way through. Then finish off with a 5-7 days in Peru and do the Inca trail to Machu Picchu. Before home to Blighty. Tick several things off my bucket list in one go.

Though I did just drop 3k on Dwarven Forge, so maybe that.

That much money would probably go into some sort of home renovation project. It's simply too large a sum for me to feel comfortable spending on recreation.

For fun stuff, I would want to spend it upon completing my graphic novel and rpg collections. However, due to certain health issues that would interfere with enjoying the above, I would probably put the money away or spend it on more practical things.

If all my other expenses were covered? I'd probably spend $4500 on art for a vanity-published RPG product and $500 promoting said beautifully-illustrated RPG product.
