What's a good meeting point in downtown Chicago?

I'm trying to arrange a place for people to meet up at the beginning of Kenneth Hite's occult architecture tour for Otherworld Excursions. He'd suggested Intelligentsia Coffee, in the Monadnock Building (53 W Jackson), but it's closed on Saturdays.

It's been almost a dozen years since I lived in Chicago, but I know many fine EN Worlders are in the area. Can anyone suggest a good coffeeshop or similar place that's in the neighborhood? Somewhere with atmosphere would be nice, but it doesn't have to have occult significance (as it appears the Monadnock Building does).

The Berghoff. It's on Adams about 2-3 blocks west of Michigan Ave. That place has probably got a few ghosts hanging around. Lots of history.

Under the clock at Marshall Field's.

On the steps at the Art Institute.

In front of the Picasso in the Daley Center.

By Buckingham Fountain.

It's also the oldest restaurant in the entire city (according to the menu's history blurb). Lots of class and exquisite food. But rather expensive. A couple places in Chinatown are just as nice without the high prices.*

*this is all 10 year old information though.
