What's comind for d20 Mod from WotC?

Anyone know what's happening with WotC d20 Modern line in the next few year or so?

Not very much, sadly. After looking through various resources, I've not found one product for the d20 Modern line in the next year.

Then again, what more do you need with d20M than the core, Dark*Matter, and d20 Future?

Precisely. Who cares what's coming from WotC? The material bursting from the 3rd party market keeps me more than happy.

I seem to recall hearing rumours that WotC may be getting around to releasing parts of some of the newer books under MSRD. Not exactly new material per se, but I'd still be happy to see it. Not that we should be holding our breath for it.

d20 modern has the advantage of having better quality thridparty published stuff. Better than the D&D OGL stuff in general. It looks like many of the current publisher of d20 modern supplement don't have intentions of stoping any time soon.

I know d20 Spectaculars got pulled form this year's publication list. However, I did read that Habro got a Marvel license for next year that included role-playing games. So here's to seeing d20 Spectaculars making a come back. Otherwise, I haven't heard of anything new coming out of WotC for d20M.

Yeah, I was kinda hoping to see the Spectaculars in print but like everyone else, 3rd Party Stuff ain't nothing to scoff at. Just so long as they use better English than me.

Also, I am not sure that all of the WotC Modern books have been of that high of quality, as opposed to ther other lines. d20 Past was pretty bad, for example, and Green Ronin's Ultramodern Firearms was better than WotC's gun book, IIRC.

Obviously, I say this as a writer of 3rd-party Modern stuff, but if WotC didn't put out anymore I would be okay. d20 Spectaculars is unnecessary when M&M and Blood and Vigilance and others are already out there... though a d20 Marvel game (and lots of stats) would be cool.

that a book is unnecessary have never stopped wotc from printing them in the past.
just look at ogl cybernet and d20 cyberscape for example.

while i have not looked at blood and vigilance, m&m cant be fitted into a normal d20 modern/future setting. so i hope that d20 spectaculars will be a supers plugin into a allready quite nice toolbox
