Not turn evil.

Wander more to the extreme end of Lawful Neutral while still thinking herself good.

Continue to oppose both Xykon and the Order of the Stick.

Blame everybody but herself for her fall, up to and including the gods.

Become significantly more violent, reactionary, and unhinged.

Who was in the throne room during the trial? Who knows about the Snarl? Miko was out fighting Belkar at the time, right? So she still has no idea of the "greater good" Shojo was trying -- she doesn't know why her "analysis" was wrong, or why the gods disapprove.

Because of that, I think she'll go evil. ATM, I think she feels everything she believed in is a lie. Her rage got the better of her, and she lost her powers. However, I can see Miko even being mad at the gods, or somehow being persuaded that they're fallible (which is a nice job for Xykon), and thus embracing the Dark Side--er, I mean, going Blackguard. :D

And, I think she could accept the "idea" of the fallibility of the gods, esp. regarding the issue of the Snarl (since it was the gods who created that menace in the first place).

I agree. I see Miko stubbornly sticking by her own convictions. A Miko Blackguard would be cool!

Mostly what I was thinking on - a Revenge of the Sith-esque "Now turn evil!" "Sure! I'm now a blackguard!" would be quite forced, even for a stick figure comic.

Plus part of the plot hinges on she revealing the gate to Xykon, who's scrying her. So I don't think Miko end in prison for now.

I find you lack of faith... disturbing.

I think Rich will do something interesting, either something we've not thought of, or he'll do what we thought in a very interesting way.

Something else is the safe bet for what's going to happen.

What should happen is for once Rich should write her like a person instead of a Lawful Annoying paladinbot, and have her eventually figure out where she went wrong and get her powers back (Sojo gets Raised, but stays in jail).

I think he will write her like a person and have her live in denial for the rest of her misbegotten life that it was her fault that she's lost her paladin powers. Blackguard is my vote.
