I discuss pretty much every game idea I have with one or two of my friends, so they land in IM logs. Unfortunately, these are the same guys who are really good at talking me into projects. More than one half-baked idea, or just an idea that wasn't really a good fit for the players or me, has turned into a game because they got excited and then promptly collapsed once the game-opening high ended.

I have 4 products in various stages of to be completed. 4e really demotivated me. That doesn't include getting around to moving my first two books from 3.0 to 3.5. Then there's my d20 lite system that I never finished. Many times I've thought "hey, just release the manuscript incomplete." But there's this thing in my head that let's loose a bloodcurdling scream when it hears the word incomplete. Somehow I'm a perfectionist and a procrastinator.

So far I've amazed myself with how many old ideas I've been able to incorporate into my new campaign, started a month ago. Not sure if I've had one new idea yet....some of these things have been in my brain for a decade at least...

OSM2 lurks, biding its time until the stars are right.

Ia! Ia! Module f'taghn!

I'm actually running my halfling party through a return to Steeple Mountain right now. They're level 10-13ish, and their very first adventure was Of Sound Mind.

Maybe we'll see OSM2 for 4e? :D

More on topic, reams and reams of old school stuff has either been discarded or given away to friends, but I still have some of it kicking around. Not to mention tons of digital work in fragments. :)

Ah, well. Not every idea reaches fruition.

Well, for a class, I have to create a book and, ideally, publish it through Lulu.com. Mine is my campaign setting with many house rules (much of which is collected OGL material).

I've recently started posting what notes i have for 3 or 4 of them on Obsidian Portal.....if nothing else it's an extra copy, but I'm finding that it's inspiring me to flesh them out. There may be life in them yet!

Uh, I have a brand new RPG in the works. . .

Yeah. . .

:heh: Well it's true, technically. And yes, one day it will conquer the world. You'll see.

Pi?
