ive got between 15 and 20 thousand comics in my back room. mostly marvel from mid 70s-2002, dc from mid 80s-2002, and indies from the 90s. in this is a 90% complete run of avengers from issue 30-up, and reprints of xmen from 94-170, plus every issue of every xbook after that. complete runs of the bwahaha justice league, cage and fist, sandman, preacher, the ultraverse, the valiant universe. you name it, i probably have it.

on my bookshelves ive got a nearly compelte run of marvel masterworks, almost all of the legion archives, a few other archives, most of the cerebus phonebooks, and 3 whole shelves of other trade paperbacks and graphic novels.

my "prize possesions" are an Avengers #9 (first Wonder Man) , Hulk #180 (first cameo wolvy) , Fantastic Four #48 (first Silver Surfer..in pretty good condition) and a beat up copy of Daredevil #1 that i bought on a street corner from a crackhead.

once i became poor in 2002, i had to stop cold turkey, but now ive been keeping track of stuff by reading friends copies and what not.

my collection of american comics is rather small:

I have a good portion of the now defunct Warhammer Monthly and Inferno, All the Darkhorse Conan, and most of the Hellboy books.

I'm not a big comics fan at all, but I do have:

- Appleseed (all graphic novels + databook)
- Ghost in the Shell (graphic novel version)
- Battle Angel (all graphic novels)
- Dirty Pair (all of Adam Warren's graphic novels)
- Bubblegum Crisis: Grand Mal (Adam Warren's graphic novel)
- AD Police (graphic novel)
- Ghost in the Shell 2: Man-Machine Interface (all 11 single issues)
- Dominion Tank Police (original graphic novel + Conflict 1 graphic novel)
- Cowboy Bebop graphic novels

I might have a couple of others that I can't remember.

I'll also be picking up the DC summer event. Looks fun so far.

I have a complete run of Bone (all 1st prints), Ultimate Spider-man (including the white cover of #1), and all but one issue of Powers.

Those would be the three that stand out at this point, I''m not sure what else I might add.

I've got all of the Hellboy trade paperbacks, three of the Hellblazer ones, and a trade paperback of The Hedge Knight which is derived from the George R.R. Martin story of the same name. Oh, and the first trade paperback of Ultimate X-Men.

Yeah, definitely not a big comic book reader. I'd like to get into Batman, Sin City, and the Watchmen though.

Books I have that I enjoy for more than just reading-

Teen titans An #1 with Jericho. (I have Perez orginal artwork from it)

Various Swamp-Things Signed Steve Bissette who I was nearly a neighbor with (30min drive)

Simonson X-Factor. He was fun and neat to talk to.

Peter david Spidey same as Walt

TMNT signed by both creators whom also lived about 30 min away

Hulk 235 (very beat up now) my first comicbook I bought Hulk vs machine man

Watchmen Got College professors thinking twice about comicbooks the medium

and many more. I have waaaaaay too many books and TPBs.
