Currently I don't know a single comic. Not one.

The last comics I purchased were the first dozen or so Spawn when it first came out in the early 90's. It was another ten years or so earlier that I purchased any regularly.

 

[Testament]

For me, its all about a few TPBs that I revere. And they're the obvious ones:

The Sandman (Gaimain's masterpiece.)
Batman: Cataclysm and No Man's Land (what an epic, so intelligent,challenging and exciting!)
The Dark Knight Returns (There is only one.)
Kingdom Come (Wow. Just wow. The art, the story, the art!)
Watchmen (The ultimate "what if..."question, and its answer)
Stormwatch & The Authority (The same question, with an interestingly different answer. And Bendix may be one of the most chilling villains I've seen.)
