And when can we expect to see this lovely gem? [wipes drool...]

I honestly have no idea. It hasn't been officially announced, but they let slip that it was coming at one of their recent chats. Just keep checking the Mechanics' website.

It's been mentioned on the website 'upcoming products' list for at least a month...

Any hint what's going to be in it then?

Sorry, no can do. The Implant and all. (Nondisclosure Agreements

NONDISCLOSURE IMPLANT (PL 6)
This miniscule chip is carefully installed somewhere on the recipient's cerebral cortex, isolating very specific information stored in the brain. This implant stops the recipient from revealing the targetted information through any means (verbal, written, body language, etc.). This implant is widely popular in the business world as a means of enforcing nondisclosure agreements.
Benefit: The character cannot consciously reveal the information targetted by the implant, even if coerced with drugs, torture, bribes, etc. The character may hint at, imply, or otherwise innoculously reference the information with a successful Will save (DC 25).
Special: During implantation, the installer determines what information the implant will target. This can be as simple as a person's name, or as complex as a series of ideas or memories. The installer must make a successful Knowledge (earth and life sciences) check (DC 25; the GM should roll this check secretly) to identify the specific portion of the brain that contains this information. If this check fails, the installer has placed the implant on the wrong portion of the brain. This means that a random idea, name, story, etc. that the character knows will be affected by the implant.
Type: Internal
Hardness/Hitpoints: -/1
Base Purchase DC: 20
Restriction: None.

Something like that, Rodney? ;)

Would it be mean of me to mention Dryden: Hero or Horror? Of course, it's kind of disturbing. An Alien/Species kinda disturbing.

And you also get setting info you can use for OGL Fantasy and Modern too...

Later,

Heh! Love it.

And The Fool, no it wouldn't be mean of you. I think many people think Dryden is meant only for d20 fantasy, well at least I did.

Hay I know that i have not been published and likely never will be. But I have done a lot of work trying to get a system that a marine is a space suit can move in space to plant a charge on a another ship and have the ships shot at him. Or even have an assualt by some APeS (d20 mecha).

I am also trying to build a system so everyone can build a vehicle oor ship easily, by using a slot based system.

I would love feed back and ideas.

It is based on d20, alternity and D&D.

just go into the d20 modern section and look for house rules.

What about me?

Gary

Yes, apologies! The lovely and talented Gary Astleford is my partner in crime on the FPC. I only did not mention this before because I was unsure of any part of my NDA that might prevent me from mentioning such facts (hey, you never know with the contracts in this world!). Plus, having not spoken to Gary recently I was unsure of how much of his work had been completed. Which reminds me, Gary needs to stop missing the weekly TGM chats; "having a wife" and "paying the bills" are no excuse for missing internet social events.

There may be more authors, as well, but as some things have not yet been set in stone I hesitate to mention any of them. Therefore, simply assume I have left someone out but will include them when official announcements are made. If I'm wrong and there are no more authors, well, no big deal, eh?

There, I think I've covered my ass (and my quite rude exclusion of my copilot) enough.
