What's the Best RPG Bargain You've Ever Gotten?

TB's Eat Your Heart Out thread made me think of some of the things I've managed to pick up relatively cheap. Nothing too amazing but I did manage to get a whole heap of 3.5E books at 60-70% off when my one of the gaming store I shop at had a crazy clearing out special. Other than that, I haven't come across anything insanely cheap.

This probably doesn't count by your criteria, but back in about 1980 a friend offered to give me Runequest & Cults of Prax under the condition that I run the game. Best deal I ever had.

For actual purchase, it would be the Colossal Red Dragon from Amazon at $38 with no S&H. No way I would have bought it for anything more.

Also from Amazon, the Dragon Magazine Archive for about $20.

From eBay, the recent "Player's Kit" for about $8 with S&H. Worth it just for the softcover PHB.

I got Rappan Athuk Reloaded at the guaranteed Amazon price from back when they thought it was going to be a hardcover book. Paid about $25 for it.

Also picked up a bunch of 1E modules for about $3 to $5 each at Half-Price Books. And got a copy of the 1E Deities and Demigods, with the Cthulhu and Melnibonean sections, for about $20.

Oh, and a set of every Al-Qadim boxed set, except one, for $60 or so.

Wilderlands of High Fantasy for $25. It was supposedly "dinged" but it looked fine to me.

A huge box of old Dragon magazines, averaging around 20 cents per mag.

Nor an RPG, but I picked up the original Talisman for $2 at a giant swap meet while visiting California.

I've got lower prices, but getting a new $40 book {epic handbook] for $15 from buy.com is the best deal.

ToH, ToH2 and creature collection 2 for half off came close.

Back when 2Ed ruled the roost, I came upon a warehouse sale and bought a backup DMG and a couple of extra PHBs for $4 each.

I bought 17 boxes of used Dwarven Forge Master Maze for $150. It was all still in the original boxes with nary a scratch on it.

I grabbed pretty much the entire line of Villains and Vigilantes at a garage sale for 2 bucks

If anyone has a copy of Death Duel with the Destroyers they'd like to part with let me know)

Second to that was my copy of World of Synnibar marked down from 50-odd bucks to $12.50.
