My answer is: None.

I've yet to play a 3E D&D PC.

So far I've only GMed 3E. The players levels are 19th, 16th, 11th, and 8th but all were converted over from 2E.

I'm only interested in seeing how far you've advanced a 1st level PC created using the 3rd edition (or 3.5).

The only 1st level char I made for 3.x made it to second level. When I first started 3.0, I joined a group that was around 11th level, so that was where I began. Our DM was getting burned out last summer, and we made new 1st level guys to start fresh, but we only played through a handful of adventures before resuming the high level stuff.

I played a halfling rogue/shadowdancer all the way to 14th level. She was great!

It took about 1.5 years, playing once a week about 3-4 hours a session.

In fact, that's the highest level character I've EVER played, let alone from first level. And I've been playing over 20 years. Seems we always got tired of the campaign/characters around 8-10th level in 1st/2nd edition games. Also, in the last 15 years, I've almost always been the DM.

rgr 6 / rog 6 / bladedancer 4 in an FR campaign.
Considering we were leveling up every 2 weeks (6 hr sessions) and we had wanted to get to epic levels (this was around the time the ELH had come out)

I'd say it took the group approximately 6 months (or so - some players missed sessions etc)

I ended up retiring the character (cause we needed a different party build at the time)

Though I have run (and played) a few 15+ level characters since then

The campaign that I DM has PCs currently at 11th level, and as soon as they're done with their current quest, they'll be high to mid 12th level. It's a 2-year (so far) campaign.

As a player, the only time I really played, my PC went from 3rd level to like 7th level or so before the campaign imploded.

Meh. I've never played a 1st level character. Every time I've played, I started from no less than 3rd.

Some players in my campaign, though, have grown from 1st to 12th.
