What's the magic equiv. of Psychometabolism?

I'm just trying to pick a good word for Body Control / Metabolic control (holding breath for a day, walking over hot coals, walking on spikes, etc).

Depends on the school. Transmutation would work, though you could also use Necromancy.

(Transmutation if you gain e.g. Lizardman's breath holding ability, Necromancy if you instead gain the immunities of the undead who do not breath.)

If you go with Necromancy, I'd go with "False Enhancement".

If you go with Transmutation, then perhaps "Vitamancy".

Well, since psionic disciplines are the psionic equivalent of schools of magic, the discipline of psychometabolism normally relates best to the school of transmutation, as Nifft said. If that is all you are looking for, that should work. Some of the other schools do not translate as readily. Telepathy is kind of like enchantment for instance, but also includes some things which fall under divination or transmutation. Just recognize that psionic disciplines do not port completely to schools of magic.

A suitably appropriate magic term would be Biomancy (biomantic effects, biomancer as the term for a user/creator of such effects). Or Vitamancy. Or anything that denotes 'mind over body' capabilities without sounding psionic-like.
