What's to watch in S&S/SciFi these days?

I am actually enjoying Spartacus Gods of the Arena more than the original, much more in fact. What a shame they killed off all the best characters... I vote for more prequels!

Aside from the awaited returns of Doctor Who and Torchwood (still looking at Being Human and Primeval on DVD) I'm surprisingly getting in to V. It's on Tuesdays, which one of my gaming nights, but I picked up the first season on DVD after seeing the pilot and am enjoying it.

I'd almost forgotten that SGU was picking back up (to finish, I guess) the final parts of the series beginning March 7th(?).

Not much aside from Fringe at the moment but looking forward to the return of:

  • Doctor Who (BBCA)
  • Warehouse 13 (SyFy)
  • Sanctuary (SyFy)
  • Torchwood (Starz)

Everyone is mentioning Warehouse 13...but not Eureka?

Sure its got its comedic elements, but that what's charming about it, it's coming back this summer on SyFy.

Occasionally you can catch re-runs of the BBC Robin Hood series on selected channels (TBS had it for a while on Saturday afternoons) as well as Legend of the Seeker. Like Merlin (too far flung from the traditional stories) they aren't to my taste, but, to each their own, maybe these will work for you?

And I second the Primeval series - kind of like the reverse of Journey to the Center of the Earth.

I watch both Eureka and Warehouse 13, though I'm less in love with W13. I won't touch Sanctuary with a 10' pole mounted on a donkeyhorse.
