What's up with Bastion Press?

For what it's worth, a quick clarification, unless I misinterpreted things when we were working on it, Bastion was just acting as developer for Castlemorn for Studio 2. So Studio 2 picked it up from FFE but wanted a company to clean it up and asked Bastion to do it (which they did and handed it back to Studio 2).

A Player's Guide to Castlemorn is solicited for release in the newest Previews, due out in Aug at a price of 4.95 for 32 pages. ....

Sounds eerily familiar! Though I've been interested in this for a while because I've like Ed Greenwood since my first Pages from the Mages. As a (very brief) writer for Bastion, I hope that things turn around for them. Some of their stuff was very decent.

what i discovered about Castlemorn

I am one of the artists contracted by Studio 2 & Bastion to work on the Castlemorn Project nearly a year ago. I found out today, after not hearing from them for many months, that the project is in the hands of Margaret Weis Productions. I spoke with THEIR art director, and she tells me that they have scrapped all the art produced for the book (which i was told 6 months ago by Studio 2 was ready to go to print) and they have started over. A sad day for me, and for the project.

For your sake, I'm sorry to hear that. Seems like it will be quite some time before this sees print. (Unless, of course, they are just going to re-use art they already have.)

Boy, that really sucks. I saw all the art for Castlemorn and it was absolutely amazing.
