What's up with the bullette's leap attack?

So the descriptor says it can jump and get off four attacks in a round. How far can it jump and does that constitute a full round action?

Since it's making multiple attacks, it would constitute a full-round action, and since it specifically says "into the air", I wouldn't allow it more than a five foot horizontal movement as part of its Leap attack to close with its foe.

As to how high it could jump, it has a Jump skill bonus of +18, which allows it to reach a height of four feet on a natural 20, or eight with a running start (which would prevent it using its Leap attack).

It reads to me less like a 'travelling'' leap, and more like a 'pop-up' leap. It's already in combat with you, and it jumps up to bring all four feet to bear.
