Did anyone summarize what's the status quo of the Forgotten Realms after the Sundering? What did they change/retcon?

The link I posted earlier to Candlekeep provides a summary of The Sundering novels; the other changes will be revealed in the campaign setting (presumably).

Thank you. I didn't notice the link. The last time I checked the Candlekeep forums they were down, probably that's why I forgot about them.

Gods and thier domain will be in the PHB, possible patrons for Warlocks, and Oath for to Gide is also possible for the PHB. I would not be surprised if setting based backgrounds were also in the PHB. Just a guess.

For the MM I think some monsters will have side bars for specific settings, and just a guess but it may have a few setting specific big bads.

The DMG is the big one, FR is used for many of the examples and its been said to contain some kind of introduction or something which will some setting info, a few playable races unique to the setting and stuff. Plus the Tyranny of Dragons adventures are bound to contain more info as well the Legue of Adventureers Guide.

It seems like there would have to be some setting update info for the Adventurer's league stuff. And Tyranny of Dragons as well.

For instance, I don't know what the current year is in Realms continuity.

DMs should have the basics of the update information available to them.

I'm pretty confident that Gods won't be specifically explained in the PH.
Just what the clerics need for subclasses.
So they will do Light, and then mention Lathander and Apollo and Pelor.
