Her mouth is hanging open retardedly ...
Actually, every time I see that pic (it's part of the background wallpaper on the main d&d website too), I can't help but think she's got her mouth open for a different reason ... but then I've got a dirty mind, so maybe it's just me. Anyone else agree?

I wouldn't say she's sexy in the way some of the more traditional d&d females are sexy ... but if I were a githyanki male, I'd definitely be interested in her.

I have to say that I'm fairly pleased with the overall "real women with curves" direction that the new 4e art has taken for the females of various races (instead of the barbie doll look of previous editions).

For the record, I'm a gamer and I find red hair (and freckles) attractive.

That's a common interpretation, not with this piece per se, but across most commercial art.

WotC is trying to further promote the Humans will hit anything paradigm. Soon we will have Half-Gith, Half-Dragonborn, and Half-Halflings.

Somewhere, someone in a focus group said "Nope, I wouldn't hit that". and WotC order new concept art for the Githyanki.

Just wait until you see the new Yuan-Ti. You'll be a snake lover in no time.
