What's your costume?

Pielorinho

Iron Fist of Pelor
So what're you dressing up as this year?

I'm getting a white outfit and a fencer's mask and a plastic rapier. I'm going to attach a posterboard sign to the rapier that reads

STRIKING FOR EQUAL EPEE!
WORKER'S REVOLUTIONARY ENGARDE PARTY
"OUR MOVEMENT WILL NOT BE FOILED!"
I'll be a white picket fence.

You?

I don't know because I think I may be coming down on something. But if I can go out, I'll dress up in a Hellenic period armor (with leather mail skirt and underpants to make it PG-rated) and cough openly among passer-bys.

Yes, I'll be the Trojan Virus. :]

I just hope no one dresses up as Mr. Norton Antivirus and beat the crap out of me. :p

I'm going with my old standby costume, Super Pumpkin!

One of those big orange leaf bags with a jack o'lantern face with holes cut for my legs and arms, a pair of orange or green tights, a big green towel tied around my neck, a lone ranger mask, and some green hairspray is all it takes. I've also tied plastic plant leaves to my hair for that extra touch of realism...

I am going as Arther Dent from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe. I have a bath robe, pjs and regular clothing mix, my digital watch, my towel, and of course the guide.

Or you could go out as Fat Albert. Just remove the leaves. :p

Standby costuume?? For shame!!! Each year should be a new and exciting costume. Using a standby is like admiting defeat...like using the premade characters for a module

:p

If he wants to be a pumpkin, let him be a pumpkin. Let's hope he doesn't run into someone dressed as a demented pastry chef (aka Sara Lee) who wants to make pumpkin pie on Halloween.

Well, I've only used it twice before, and never with the people who I'll wear it around this year...

I never thought about a costume until last night, when a friend asked me if I was wearing a cousume to his party. For some reason, I had a brain fart this year and never came up with anything. Maybe I'll come up with something new and creative in the next 2 days, but if not, Super Pumpkin will fly again.

And what's wrong with using the pre-gen characters in a module? Huh? ;)

Considering we know how long it takes to make a character (or costume, for that matter), I have no problem with pre-gen/pre-made.

If you have a local [stage] theater or theater company nearby, maybe you should call to inquire if they are renting out their wardrobe.

Its like having your mother pick out your clothes for you...its okay when you are six, but shouldn't you be doing it yourself now?
