What's your costume?

Trojan virus--hee hee! I could do that with my wife. See, she's gonna be making a vest out of the cut-up covers of my old computer games, and wearing it along with a tricorner hat and an eyepatch. She'll be a software pirate.

In a choir outfit, with cinder blocks tied to my feet, I'll be going as a former Sopranos star...

:p

Okay. This is going to sound a little weird. See my avatar? Good. I have a cat outfit made from cloth and ans small strips of leather on the inside. The outside is all fur. I guess I love my cat too much, having elevated her to the status of the Rakastan overgoddess in my homebrew. However, I hve worked on my cat outfit since november of last year and completed it in March of this year. It consists of seven parts: The chest, the legs, the hands (two), the feet (two) and the head (with proper openings for my eyes and the ability to breathe, hear and speak). It is a labor of love, but I fully intended to wear it and GM in it.

Heh. My high school blazer is identical to the one Ford Prefect wears in the old BBC series.

A friend of mine - who I knew would get the reference - threw a P-themed birthday party one year. I had the outfit, the satchel, the towel, the peanuts, the manuscript, and the Guide...

I was the first to arrive... Campbell opened the door, pointed at me, and yelled "FORD PREFECT!"

Not many other people got it, though. I heard "Oh... you're a prefect?" many times that night.

Gah.

Modern day tiefling: I just bought a pair of those "glue on" red devil horns. Gonna walk around in normal clothes and wear those. Since most people won't know what a tiefling is, I probably just call myself a demon-boy or something.

Now that's a cool costume. Wish I thought of that. Maybe I'll go as Zaphod next year and pretend I have a parrot in a cage on my shoulder. ;)

So, you're going out as the guy from Cats broadway musical. That doesn't sound weird at all.

I'm a pirate! Yaaaarr!

I'm already dressed up, ready to go out tonight (leaving in 15 mins). It's gonna be fun!

Wow some of you have some creative ones!

I'm more along the lines of the pumpkin- This year me luv and I are going as Yogi and his girl Cindy.... Hey, it's better then the priest and catholic school girl from last year. WE do try and change around from year to year, and not many yogi and Cindy's out there :)

I'm thinking about doing Zatoichi the Blind Swordsman - but I'm not sure wether I should go the classic route or bleach my hair and go as the new Takeshi Kitano film's version.

edit: I'm still deciding. I might not have time to do anything... My girlfriend is definately going as Oren-Ishii from Kill Bill, though.
