Portrait of a Lady on Fire
Most quotable Mad Max movie, hands down. The less said about THUNDERDOME (aka diet Mad Max) the better.
I never got around to watching Age of Adaline, but it sounds like it'd be one you'd recommend.Captain America: The Winter Soldier
(Honorable mention: The Age of Adaline)
"You reckon I been slack?"Most quotable Mad Max movie, hands down.
"naughty word" "Pig naughty word.""You reckon I been slack?"
"Two men enter...One man leave."
"Death is listening, and he'll take the first man who screams"
I'm in this weird position where I agree, but also it's been 30+ years and haven't it it with Jurassic Park.I don’t think any movie stays perfect. But I do feel like a movie can be “perfect” if you catch it at the very right time in your life. Goonies, Explorers, Aliens, Fight Club, Gummo, The Conversation, Platoon, Evil Dead II, They Live, Das Boot, Natural Born Killers, The Road Warrior, Paralax View, Blade Runner. At some point in my life I think you could find me exclaiming any of those the most perfect movie ever, if only, in some cases, for a day or so, but that is how I believe it goes for “perfect movies”.
It hits you, and it’s wonderful, but eventually, while you still love it, you see more nuance.
