750 (a nice round number at that!). Slightly bent in one corner, but I'd still call it near-mint on arrival (which is not bad considering the handling and shipping process). And it rocks most mightily!!!

I ordered mine at the start of may so I imagine that mine will be somewhere around the #500 mark. Unfortunately since I live in Australia I won't find out for sure until later this week at best or later this month at worst (hopefully).

Did anyone get a little doodle or message in their book. Monte said that he did some quick drawings in some when the process was held up for one reason or another.

On Monte's boards there is talk about the problem with packaging. He suggests that if you have a problem with banged up books that you contact WW customer service and they'll replace it.

#163, ordered last September, arrived this past Firday. Corners kinda dinged up, but not truly horrible. Certianly more so than warranted for a brand new book, especially of this price. Though, with the embossed cover, they don't stand out as much.

Contacted WW, they said if I mailed it back they'd replace it with another signed and numbered copy. Given that the level of damage (not all the heavy...it'd get there through normal use, but I'm bibliophile enough I'd prefer it get there via such use), that there was no mention of them picking up shipping, and I'd be trading #163 for like #998 or such...I think I'm keeping mine.

In the past, anything I have gotten from White Wolf has been packed extremely well with foam peanuts that stick to everything in the universe. I'm surprised to hear so many problems. Hopefully mine arrives in better shape.

It has been reported that White Wolf is refunding the overnight shipping charge. I can't confirm this, but suggest that you contact them yourself?

If there really were 1,000 preorders (plus the 500 or so from Rappan Athuk Reloaded), they may have run out of packing materials.
