What's your scariest in-game experience?

Dude, not to start a flame war, but you seem very....rigid...in your views. Did any of these people try to do anything to you? Was the dinner they were cooking in the kitchen a HUMAN or something?

I'm not gay, nor Wiccan, and I wear a LOT of black but I'm not Marilyn Manson or something, nor am I even very "liberal"--so I'm not defending anyone--but you just come across in both of your posts as being very....I dunno...inflexible.

Whatever.
Hold up, wait a minnit, wait a minnit...I just saw you're from GA. That explains a lot. NOW I understand why you were uncomfortable.

Oh look. There goes any creditability you had from your first post.

Chill - the wind was whipping the trees outside, a summer storm was in the air, we were rolling and having a good time playing the game. Well, in Chill there was a monster power to cause cars to stop, lights to go out; what happens, power flicks off when the DM says so. :)

Not cool. Let's not slam someone for allegedly being closed-minded and accuse them of stereotyping others and then turn around and do the same thing. Sounds to me like he was saying "I am not used to gaming with strangers, and my first impression was that these guys were very different from me. Still, I gave it a chance and now we are good friends, and still game together."

For the record, I am also in diaglo's group, along with (to my knowledge, at one time or another) at least two pagans and two gaymers.

And I'm not from GA, but have lived here since age 5, a total of 30 years next month.

Insults are NOT scary. However, meeting new and different people IS, for almost everybody. So, knock the flame war off, accept that everybody is doing their best to accept the fact that they need to be accepting of others, except for those who don't want any acceptance. Anything less would be unacceptable! :p

BACK TO THE SCARINESS!

Heh, the second one, well, it was all new to him, whatever, but you can't call him inflexible for the first one. The dude tried to BITE the DM over a rules disagreement! That's not a lifestyle choice, that's insane.

Dude, you're from Snailville. I love that town, I got peeps there and Lawrenceville.

My scariest moment was getting carjacked in Snellville. Of course, that was RL.

My scariest IC moment was getting trapped on the seventh level of Hell receiving severe "lack of respect" from seven ancient wyrm dragons. Total feeling of helplessness. My character was going to get himself intentionally killed for the total loss of dignity when the rest of the party showed up and saved him.

Dude it was freaky; DM was pretty detailed about it, too.
