What's your screen name from?

What does your EN World screen name come from?

Does one of the forums here on ENWorld allow us to post character hostories? They would be great not only for NPC's, but campaign story arc inspiration.

My SN has an interesting past :)

It originated with Ash's famous line in Army of Darkness, then got used on the DM's guidebook for CP2020...

So, when I joined up on a CP2020 board this was a name that would identify me as the wack... I mean normal person that I am.

Folks an that board led me to Monte's boards, and I figured it would be better to stick to one nom de guerre... .. and thence from Monte's board to this one. :)

I has thoughts about changing to something less...umm... pointed, but then I realized that if anyone had issues with the tone of my posts, all they need to do it look at the SN to get back in focus. :)

You might think it's from the Platonic dialog, but you'd be wrong. I am a big fan of Socrates and Plato, but it actually comes from the alter ego in Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.

I really liked the book, and think the name sounds cool.

I voted "something totally different". Because, you know, like, basically... it is my name. :p

I did have a handle that I identified myself with back in the early BBS era, but I started feeling more and more odd over time using it.

One of my favorite characters- Alran Foreguard, Wizard and member of the Arcane Order has a familar by the name of Harmon. Originally a weasel, he died, then came back as a P Dragon. Alran's best friend, and companion whom always gets the best part of the rations, and the pillow of Alran's bedroll.

Mine is a nickname...It's fun and descriptive! :-)
Edited to add: Not to mention accurate! When my 2nd child is born in December, I'll have to change it. Maybe Fatter Daddy or Fat Daddier? :-)
