What's your screen name from?

What does your EN World screen name come from?

My screen name is from a PC I played a while back. Sound of Azure was a Psychic Warrior who was pretty good at defending his allies. His beliefs and demeanour were pretty much the same as mine, and I always identified with him a lot. He was particulrly fond of using the synaesthete power.

The name itself was inspired by a character from the Onmyoji movies (Sound of White).

A PC I was writing a story hour for. I've been too lazy to change it back to a previous alias from the earlier EN boards, or to the alias I use on most other boards I frequent.

Plus it serves as a little memorial for Angelsboi, who was the DM for the original Olgar character.

Mine is from a Magic Item I created in a 2nd edition game. It was a 6 pack of dwarvish ale. When you drank one it summoned a long dead 4th level dwarf fighter for an hour. The keg-o-dwarves summoned an army of dead dwarves. The dwarves were always very happy to get into fights and trouble for the time they were back....

Permission to use for my campaign?

Mine's been the same since the days of the old BBS's. There were about 40 trillion JRR's or JRRTolkiens, so I came up with the novel idea (for a 13 year old on a commodore 64 with a 150 baud modem) of inverting Tolkien.
