What's your screen name from?

What does your EN World screen name come from?

"Mhac de Bhandia" means "Son of the Goddess" in Irish Gaelic - or so I was told about a decade ago now, when I was looking for a screen name to use on the neopagan websites and newsgroups I most often frequented at that point in time.

Because it's literally unique, to my knowledge, and because I use mhacdebhandia@yahoo.com as my public e-mail address anyway, I just use it everywhere I go.

If you're wondering, it's pronounced "vock the von dee ah" - or, again, so I was told. ;) To be honest, at this point in time I read it more as a symbol or tag representing me than as a word.

A Drow Fighter/Magic-User/Thief in 1st edition. One of my favorite characters ever, and the first I got really into as more than a stat collection.

My old hacker alias, thanks to my being a major physics nerd back in high school. And by old, I mean the days when 2400 bps dial-up was a fast connection. ('95 or so.)

My nickname in real life.

My last name is actually Wos, without the a... long story short, my close friends for many years (talking about like young'n years in 5th grade) never could agree on my real last name and asked me. Somehow the false name they made up stuck and now everyone who really knows me, calls me just "woas" instead of my real name.

My last name is actually pronouced like Moss, but with a w instead of an m.

My nickname, even though its not really spelled the way people say it, is sort of like plural Woe. So like Woes.

Mine was the name of my first character in Ultima Online back in 1997. Since then I use that name in all MMOs and discussion boards.

Reel Big Fish is one of my favorite bands, and gish is one of my favorite archetypes to play.

Underscores so when i tell people my email address, I have to explain what an underscore is, because they start writing the whole word (reelunderscorebigunderscorefish). I live in the South. :\

way back in 1980...when i made the Dream Warriors, i prayed for a name that i liked, and after some thinking of it..out of the blue, I thought of Daijin.

about 14 years later, my D&D group said I am Dreamweaver (because I am the DM for Myth Torn and Dunjon Legends), and ever since then i have been using Daijin Dreamweaver.

It wasnt till i played the online game Everquest, that I found out what Daijin meant: Some japanese person told me: Did you know that Daijin means General-Priest of God? and I replied no, but I was very happy to find that out  :D :D :D

I orginally picked the name "Hammerhead" as my call sign in one of those VR/arcade things. Why I chose that name in particular? No idea. But it sounds cool.
