way back in 1970...when i made the Dream Warriors, i prayed for a name that i liked, and after some thinking of it..out of the blue, I thought of Daijin.

about 14 years later, my D&D group said I am Dreamweaver (because I am the DM for Myth Torn and Dunjon Legends), and ever since then i have been using Daijin Dreamweaver.

It wasnt till i played the online game Everquest, that I found out what Daijin meant: Some japanese person told me: Did you know that Daijin means General-Priest of God? and I replied no, but I was very happy to find that out  :D :D :D
heh, that's cool :)

You might think it's from the Platonic dialog, but you'd be wrong. I am a big fan of Socrates and Plato, but it actually comes from the alter ego in Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.

I really liked the book, and think the name sounds cool.

I like me some Plato, (in fact studied Platonic numerology for 7 years)

Zen good, ;)

Triva: Zany Plato, is my name with all the letters rearranged, (so guess my name ;) )

My name "librarius arcana" is just latin for Arcane library, I like books, And have many,
And because I like Unearthed Arcana, thats it ;)

My name comes from the origin of the term "plain sailing", which is taken to mean 'an easy task'. Not so many people know that it is a corruption of an original nautical term, 'plane sailing', which is basically that when it became possible to create flat maps it became much easier to plot navigation since you were plotting on a plane rather than the surface of a sphere. Plane navigation was much easier than normal navigation, plane sailing was much easier than normal sailing.

I've always been intrigued by that, and when thinking of a name for ENworld (or Erics orginal message boards, in fact) it came together quite nicely with my love of the concept of the astral plane.

Hence Plane Sailing. A Riddle Inside a Mystery Wrapped in an Enigma :)

Mines from a character in the One Piece Manga. Gold Roger was the pirate kingthat started the age of pirates by proclaiming on his execution that he hid the greatest treasure of the world. Well, I like pirates, so chose it.

The name of the first character I've ever made!

A half-elf bard :) .

Too bad the campaign only lasted 1 session.

I've been DMing ever since (or playing characters which would sound dumb as Illirion).

I now use Illirion as the name of the province my current campaign started out in.

Is mine from one of the two separate and unrelated dwarves in the two separate and unrelated Dragonlance novel? No.

Is it from that werebear of the same name in a David Eddings book? Nope.

Is it from the former Israeli PM? No.

A misppelling of the democrat senator, Barack Obama? no!

From the israeli handgun? NO!

I actually rolled it as a dwarven name on a chart in the WFRP character creation packet for a WFRP character.
