When are the awards taking place? I want to plan my time so that I can go to them.

I emailed Denise with that question last week. At the time, she said she was still waiting to hear from GenCon about the schedule.

I haven't heard or seen any update since.

It looks like they are going to be Friday night at Gen Con not sure on time though

Hopefully one of these people (see below) know so that folks don't have to put off their registration tomorrow and risk missing the chance to get in on their first choice of games. However, it's been on Friday night in the past, though that's no guarentee, of course.

Yeah, GenCon registration is complicated enough! So many games, so little time!

To quote Denise, who in turn was quoting a person named Byron who is apparently involved with Gen Con:

We are currently planning on having the award ceremony in the same
location, with the same set up, it was in last year, The Crowne Plaza,
Grand Hall on Friday night.

I would guess it start between 8 and 9pm, since earlier than that cuts into the end of a gaming time slot, and later than that will lose the folks who actually sleep at the con.
