When did Gen. Jack O'Neil from SG-1 Join the Canadian Army?

Hi,

Just curious if anyone else has seen this recruiting poster from the Canadian Forces. I may be mistaken but the soldier that is front and center looks an awful lot like Richard Dean Anderson.

Haven't you heard? Canada hired MacGuyver to upgrade their military. They're tired of the entire armed forces consisiting of roughly tweleve guys with some parachutes, a duck boat and a couple shotguns.

Eidetic memory or not, looking at it alongside a picture of RDA I can see a number of similarities.

Been staring at the picture for a while now and I start to notice some resemblance. It's something with the eyes and the area between nose and upper lip. But it's very minor.
