When did you give up on Greyhawk?

I hadn't played Greyhawk at that point, but I gave up on FR in 1990, and started playing Greyhawk three years later. I'd like back some of the money I wasted on FR ...

Me too (1985, for the record).

The F.R. boxed set had the information I wanted as a DM, not the political history of the Theocracy of the Pale. How often does that come up in a D&D game full of teenagers?

However, I think that F.R. might have been beaten to death by supplements.

I quit GH when I quite D&D with 2e. I came back to GH when 3.0 was in pre-release, so I voted GH Grognard

Greyhawk is still my favorite setting. I like Eberron also, for different reasons.

I have read and enjoyed a few of the Forgotten Realms novels, but I never could get into the setting. I have had a few DMs try to run Forgotten Realms for me, but they weren't very good and likely spoiled the setting for me.
