D&D 5E When exactly does Basic come out?

Right before the July 4th weekend would make good sense, from a marketing standpoint.

It makes poor sense from the "I'm going hiking in the White mountains that weekend" standpoint!!

I'm seriously considering stopping by all the game stores in the towns I'll be driving through that day.

3rd is fine! I leave for two-and-a-half week of pretty much internet-less holidays on 4th of July. Guess I have to pack the laptop, after all.
