Haven't been able to play forever. So just started up a group last month (in person) - I'm the DM other players are pretty inexperienced (not that my decade long absence from play can be called experienced)

Congratulations! It takes very little time to shake the rust off, in my experience. After probably 15 years or more off, I DMed 2E online (using a Java chat room!) and it took me maybe two sessions to be fully comfortable DMing again, even with a new-to-me edition.

I get to play at least once a week when running games.
Two to three when it isn't my turn to run...it is almost always my turn to run however , lol

It was about 4 weeks ago, but we usually play every week. I alternate playing/DMing with another DM (separate campaigns).

Last weekend it was my turn to run. The week before we had a get together instead of playing because my friend from Ohio was in town. The week before that I had to cancel because my water heater started leaking and I had to get it replaced. And (IIRC) the weekend before that I played in my friend's campaign.
