That's exactly the opposite of my reaction.

For me, the most interesting part of it all is figuring out whether their silence is just a botch of the situation, or indicative of an iceberg beneath the metaphoric waters.
I can't believe that given the heart-felt reminiscing they put on their page that they wouldn't have expected people's reactions to be negative, and . . . uh . . . you know,
tried and stuff.
It doesn't bode well when the people who want to "take the game online" haven't sussed out the whole talking on the internet thing. It's starting to look like this is the part of the nosedive when the co-pilot looks up from his console and says, "are these readings right?"
Anyway, I'm very curious to read their answers, but at the same time disappointed that they're going to do it in a oh-so-crisis-managed way rather than just showing up to tell people what is actually going on. Skulduggery is afoot!
IF this were actually D&D, it'd be time to kick in the door and start looking for the evil guy.
