Where can I find full dragon stats?

Here's the one I used for ages.

It's 3.0, but it does templating, alternate stats as needed / wanted, etc.

Very nice piece of work by the skilled Mr Greathouse.

Ooops... that is of course the same one you posted in the first post. :)

Thanks folks, I'll check out the Draconomicon next time I hit my game store. That stat block PDF sounds really useful--I try to print out stats for all major creatures for a given session so I can leave my MM on the shelf (or hand it to a summoning PC).

After looking at the stats that dragon generator created, I see that 3.0 isn't that different from 3.5 (with respect to dragons, anyhow). The only difference I could see was the CR was increased from 6 to 7 for the young red dragon I needed stats for.

As an aside, almost every adventure I read makes me think that many of the 3.0-3.5 changes were arbitrary. I want a DVD version of the 3.5 core books with designer/developer commentary explaining the reasoning behind the changes.

Now that would have been a nice gimmick for the PHB Special Edition :D

Seriously. I use a lot of old Dungeon adventures from 3.0. Every time I read one I glance over the differences. Here's the latest one:

3.0 Githyanki have the following at will spell like abilities: clair*, dimension door, and telekinesis. Pretty cool, eh? In 3.5 they get dimension door and telekinesis at high character level (which is actually kind of cool), but at 3/day.

But in this adventure, the githyanki travel all over the place using dimension door and scouting with clair*. Pretty cool, eh? The players will be impressed. Especially since this takes place in the Astral Plane where all spells and spell-like abilities are Quickened!

But 3/day? That takes all the fun out of it. They've used them all up by the time they find the PCs!

Its a nitpick, but it always seems like a lot of abilities were watered down because of potential in-combat abuse, but at the expense of out-of-combat coolness.
