sorry, i wasn't clear.

i didn't mean the monsters were in the book. i meant look at the format.

at the bottom of each entry is a note as to where something first appeared or where you could find it at the point in time when the Lorebook was released.

your asking about other monsters reminded me of this format.

yes, they are in the doom of daggerdale. they are created by the use of the net of shadows.

wood wose is another name giving to them in the adventure.

Are Al Quaddim creatures.
QUesar i'm not too sure but it sounds like outer planes.
I know warden beast and zoveri are definitely outer plane monsters. the loose leaf ones.

ok, but were they in the Monstrous Compendium, or somewhere else? i know AQ was #13, probably from 1991 or thereabouts.

Confirmed: The asuras and buraq appeared in MC13, Al-Qadim Appendix. The warden beast and zoveri appeared in MC8, Outer Planes Appendix. As for quesar, I'm afraid I have no idea.
