Where do you play?

We sometimes played in the dance studio of the workout place I used to go to. One of the guys in my group was a personal trainer and I worked out there so the owner was ok with it.

My choice if I did not have a gaming space these days would be similar to the advice you have already received: Go to the local community college and setup shop in the student union.

Places I have played include-

my house
friend's house
stranger's house (with permission)
work place eatting room
town hall
church meeting hall (and it was CoC...I will burn for that no doubt ;) )
town park
state campground
bank meeting room (no more- we are a "securty risk" :\ )
and of course- schools and conventions.
Hi Bill -

I have played in the same places and most of the time play with Megamania, and am sure that that burn will happen for more than playing in a church :heh:

My list would also include game stores (which are a rarity in Vermont these days), community club buildings, and college meeting rooms from when I was in college playing 5 nights a week

Our group has an added issue which we are trying to work on and that is one of our regular players is in a wheelchair. Since most people's homes are not "handicapped friendly" that means we have to find an outside place to play or our friend cannot participate..

It is hard to find a place to play, but add having to find someplace with Handicapped Access and it gets even harder. Something that you probably wouldn't believe with the Americans with Disabilities act in place.

Good luck in your search.

We have found a place to play in the summer, but we are still trying to find a place for winter that we can play and include our friend (which is important to all of the players).
