Description od solid stone vs obsideon, wood and metal makes a difference plus I use miniatures and I am looking into my toy figures for a large sized iron golem type which should set it clearly different.

One of the factions I am using is werewolves. Their leader will be a DIRE werewolf. So I am using the WoTC werewolves. Then you see the werewolves from confrontation as the Dire werewolf. Very dramatic difference.

Just a quick note, the reason you aren't finding a level adjustment is because such a creature is unsuitable for a PC. As long as it's an NPC, you're all set.

He will be very much an NPC. I wouldn't want to monitor a stone golem daily. The damage!
