Where is everyone?

Not sure. I plan on staying here unless 3e is completely unsupported at EN World but I don't see that happening.

When I saw something about EN World 2 I had assumed it was for 4e support. guess not.

EN World 2 is just a major upgrade of EN World. It doesn't affect topics in any way.

And 3E will continue to be completely supported here.

I've found myself posting less for a couple of reasons:

There seems to be less activity in General of late. That's where I normally post the most. Less active thread there has meant I have also been posting less.

I check the 4E forums but rarely post there. At the moment there isn't enough information out there for me to worry too much about 4th Edition. A lot of the thread seem to be rehashing the same arguement over and over. I still read a lot of them but rarely post to them.

Overall I'm probably on EN World roughly as often as normal but reading more and posting less. I've certainly noticed that there is a lot less posting going on in the General Forum at the moment.

I've been spending more time at the Circvs than ENWorld lately, but I stayed home from work sick today, so I've been a posting madman today. :)

Plus, it's the height of a major holiday season for many folks.

Living across an ocean from the rest of my family, I can't claim "visiting family/on vacation" as a reason for not posting, but I can claim "busy at church," "busy baking," "busy decking out the house," and "busy with end-of-semester stuff" as reasons for not posting.

That, and probably 1 out of every 2 people I know in my sphere is currently sick with some sort of unpleasant cough, cold, or the flu. What with the mainland getting much chillier weather and people's immune system generally being weaker during cold weather, I'm sure folks on the mainland are also suffering from the "winter blahs."

Hey there, all. :)

It does seem quieter, especially at night, here in the Metropolis of ENWorld.
Circys Maximus seems much quieter than it was, too.

It does seem slower and CM I don't ever go to much anymore because it seems like the same 10 people that belong to a click that communicate with each other there.

Oh well....

I also blame 4thed, it has kind of split up posting that would go to general--causing loss of critical mass--I am also guessing it may have slowed down some other parts like house rules and D&D rules.

The other thing I notice, in the 4th ed thread, is a lot of posting by people with few posts. This may have something to do with the original mystery of many on and few posting: we are pulling in new people who want the 4th ed news, even as the regulars have divided up or slowed down their normal posting

I feel like I have less to say, at both places, lately. CM in particular -- I just don't really have anything to add.

Actually, another thing that's been taking up a lot of my time is writing. I'm prolly averaging about 500 words a day, even counting days when I don't write at all (if I count game design time).

But that's productive time, generally.
