Public baths?
For maximum humour, have the 'secret entrance' be at a bath where some female monks are relaxing who'll be quite angry at any men intruding.
Of course, the PCs are too stupid/impatient to wait until they leave, and try various silly plans to sneak in. (See several Ranma 1/2 episodes for more ideas along these lines.)
