Where's my D&D Essentials?

...my Amazon pre-order made many months ago still hasn't arrived.

Does your order have books that have not been released and do you have the shipping set to "as few shipments as possible"? I've erroneously done that before and had to wait until the last book was released to get the whole shipment even though some books were already long available.

I get the feeling that there isn't really a 'preferential' store scheme in the UK, with Esdevium sending books out to retailers as soon as they can - certainly to most/all hobby channel stores. Obviously that doesn't help you much if you don't have a very local game store, but it means they should be available mail order from any game store as soon as Esdevium gets them delivered (which has been subject to some delay for various reasons). Patriot Games in Sheffield does mail order as well, and I think there are one or two south coast stores (isn't there one in Southsea?)
