Which 80s wargames and adventure games do you still play?

For those playing BattleTech, are you sticking with the older books & models or have you invested in any of the new stuff? I’m actually impressed with the new mini’s that I’ve seen, though I’ve got too many Ral-Partha ones to justify buying more. It’s cool that BattleTech seems to be enjoying a bit of a renaissance right now.

(For my part I’ve mainly relied on the 90’s compendium and been doing mostly “back to basics” 3025 era Mechs)

The game seems virtually unchanged since the 1990s at least. I know BT started before that, but I didn't start investing in the game myself until 1990-1991 (and I only recently accepted Clans were just part of the game and I couldn't change that). They've advanced the eras and introduced new mechs of course, but the basic game plays pretty much the same as I remember it.

I’m about 90% the new Catalyst sculpts since 2019. So new minis but my rule book is still old but not dusty. The BT renaissance is indeed a blessing.

We just hit 110 badges for our local BT only convention in Minneapolis this December.
