Wow, Birthright is dead... I can't even beat out the other category... :(

I realize that Planescape was forgotten but look at the lead that Greyhawk and Dark Sun have.

Dude, next time you do a poll, do some research first.

Planescape is one of the most-often demanded-for settings, as is Arabian Adventures, to a slightly lesser degree.
Y'know, if you think you can construct a better poll on the subject, nothing's stopping you.

Of course the trouble is, the way WOTC did the settings probably would anger a lot of fans.

For instance, look at how many people are disappointed with the job D20 Future did with Star Frontiers. Not quite the 'mob with torches rattling the gates of the castle' level of mad, but disappointed.

Or the way that Dungeon/Polyhedron butchered Spelljammer. Yeah, many non SJ fans liked it, because it took out most the weird stuff. But SJ fans liked the weird stuff - that's why they were SJ fans.

Anyway, also, while technically Mystara was both the Known World (the outside of the planet) and Hollow World (the inside), I think both are large enough that you couldn't really do them both in one book. The style was also somewhat different - the Known World was a fairly standard, if extremely high level and high magic setting, while the Hollow World was largely based on real world cultures. While it wasn't exactly low magic (the Eygptian like culture had magical hover tanks, sorta), it wasn't quite as high.

Yeah, those are the only two I'd pick up, I think. Maybe Masque of the Red Death too.
WotC is working on a 3.5 Masque of the Red Death. Claire Hoffman (who runs the Living Death campaign for the RPGA) is working on it. And before anyone starts whining about the RPGA being nothing but a home for power gaming monty haul munchkins, realize that Living Death is not your typical RPGA campaign. You can check it out for free at www.livingdeath.org and possible glean some hints about what might end up in a 3.5 MotRD campaign book.

Mystara, but that's due to the pleasant memories that I have playing basic D&D in that setting. And, as for stuff in the "Other" category... ahem...

LANKHMAR.

...ahem.... `scuse me. :D

Planescape. I'd pimp my players to sailors on shore leave to get it to happen.

As a sailor, I can say that I would BUY your players if it funded a return of Planescape.

Since it wasn't up there, and there's plenty of planar stuff available anyway, I voted Dark Sun and Spelljammer. I concur with the other posters, they got mangled in the recent Dragon/Polyhedron updates. However, if they kept the old-school flavor, I would definitely purchase them.

I'd be very interested in Dark Sun (especially with the XPsiHB), Birthright and Al-Qadim. I'm not confident that they could do them well though, so I'd want to look at the first. I was already direly dissapointed with the Dark Sun from Dragon/Dungeon after getting very excited over it.
